NHSCB publishes crucial staffing guide for CCGs
The NHS Commissioning Board has published an HR guide and frequently asked questions to help HR leads in PCTs support emerging CCGs and the many NHS staff who are hoping to transfer to jobs in these new organisations. They provide practical advice about how emerging CCGs can approach the main HR issues they are likely to encounter, including the senior appointments process, transfers of NHS staff and the use of NHS pay arrangements. The Board has assured CCGs that they can expect support from their local HR leads in dealing with the complexities of transfer arrangements and has promised further updates in coming months.
The NHS Commissioning Board has released Issue 13 (May 1st 2012) of the 'Bulletin for Emerging CCGs'. This edition covers the latest commissioning topics including links to the final 'Clinical Commissioning Group Authorisation: Draft Guide for Applicants' document the new CCG HR Guide and an update on leadership assessments for CCG leaders. Resources for CCGs including the CCG Authorisation guide HR guidance for CCGs and CCGs Agenda for Change can be found on the NHS Commissioning Board's website. Both are important documents for emerging CCGs and set out the route for the year ahead.
